The Ed Mirvish Award for Entrepreneurship: This award, created by David Mirvish in honour of his father, recognises the entrepreneurship of our independent artists. Mirvish Productions know the power of the Fringe, having remounted three particularly famous productions over the past 15 years – The Drowsy Chaperone, ‘da Kink in My Hair, and most recently My Mother’s Lesbian Jewish Wiccan Wedding. The Ed Mirvish Award will be claimed by the mainstage Fringe company that sells the highest proportion of its available seats, in celebration of the hard work, innovation and creativity that goes into making a Fringe show a success.
The winner will be announced after the end of the festival. Stay tuned!
