So, the Toronto Fringe Festival is done, you’re wondering what the heck to do with yourself, and then you realise, wait, I’m in Toronto! There’s always stuff going on in Toronto!
This week it’s the Toronto Just for Laughs Festival.
Now, sure there are really expensive galas (tickets ranging from $55 – $120 per ticket) with famous people (John Cleese anyone?), but there’s also bunches of free events (listed as “Street Arts”) at Young Dundas Square. Free stuff is good. I’m always down with the free stuff.
And there’s stuff in between:
$20 shows at the Comedy Bar, and other shows that the website doesn’t list prices for at The Second City, and at shows ranging from $22 – $29 at Yuk Yuk’s.
Really, your best bet is to check out the line-up of shows yourself. Just don’t get lost in the big galas, remember, there’s so much more to check out!
