While you’re busy checking out show after show at the Toronto Fringe (check out our writers’ top picks, and our reviews of every show), don’t forget to stop by the Fringe Club (the last time in the alley behind Honest Ed’s! So sad!) for great beer, great food, a water bottle refill, and to satiate your shopping bug. Visual Fringe, which take up the white tents in the Fringe Club, are full of works from amazing local artisans that you can purchase and take home right on the spot.
This year’s Visual Fringe features Chained Creativity by Michelle Dawn Proirier, Scotch/Rye by Stephanie Ward, Psycho Shark Club by James Taylor, Happy Your Heart by Anna Tai, and the artwork of Biljana K Carter among others.
Check under the cut for more photos.
Stephanie Ward offers unique stone jewelry at her Scotch/Rye booth.
Artist Sean Spencer delivers bold and bright colours in his printed baby onesies, prints and accessories.
At his booth, Psycho Shark Club, artist James Taylor offers his unique graphic hoodies, T-shirts and prints.
For the most dazzling array of handmade chain mail jewelry, costume pieces and pendants, look no further than Chained Creativity.
If you’re in need of a break, grab a seat and punch out your own graphic buttons using any of the magazines or newspaper materials available – or even your favourite Fringe program!
Artist Biljana K Carter offers stationery cards printed with her unique and whimsical wildlife art.
Artist Majalyn Aquino offers her brightly coloured lively prints suitable for children and adults.
Everyone loves a cute little button and Anna Tai of Happy Your Heart has perfected the Cute Little Button with her delightfully adorable buttons. Don’t you <3 Shakespeare, too?
There’s always plenty of great music to be had at the Fringe Club with local musicians busking daily.
