The Secret Life of a Mother is “unapologetically human”
The review for Secret Life of a Mother was supposed to be easy. It was supposed to be a slam dunk. It’s an incredible show created by a powerhouse team. But for some reason, here I am, submitting this review three days late (being the boss has its perks).
Working Class Dinner Party is “a joy to have dinner with”

Shows that Caught Our Eye in Toronto for the Week of February 10, 2020
I sat down to do up this post like I have every week since September, and just couldn’t BELIEVE how much is going on this week! There’s a Blockbuster Musical making it’s Toronto debut this week. There are two great festivals. There is fantastic Black History Month programming all over the city. And as always there is loads of amazing new local theatre too! So – for those of you maybe looking for something do to for a special date night (or not!) – there is definitely plenty of choice out there.
With so much going on in theatre this week I don’t envy our editor Samantha the task of picking out what has caught her eye! Check out her ‘red‘ picks in our listings below!
