Confessions of a Redheaded Coffeeshop Girl
“Our eyes and ears are locked into Perry’s performance” NYC Stage Buddy
“Perry’s got a yummy voice – gravelly, smoky, distinct – I loved every minute of her singing and storytelling…” –
Edmonton Journal
“A ★★★★ performer” CBC Canada
After performing to critical acclaim in Edmonton, Winnipeg, Vancouver and New York City, Rebecca Perry brings her hit onewoman ‘showsical’ home to the Toronto Fringe Festival before embarking on her 2014 CAFF tour. Joanie Little, an “adorkable” graduate stuck paying off debt decides to make the most out her barista job by reporting about the humans of her coffee shop as though she were Jane Goodall herself, bushwhacking through the African jungle to observe the chimps. A tour-de-force that makes you laugh one minute and cry the next. Complete with live music, zombies, earthquakes, co-worker showdowns and a talking coffee mug for a boss.
