FROM ROCK’ER AND ROLL’ER TO SOCCER AND STROLL’ER BY CLEVE JONES
Triennacom Entertainment is pleased to announce the debut of I BECAME MY MOTHER as part of the 2012 Toronto Fringe Festival. I BECAME MY MOTHER is an intimate account of the transformation from rock n’roll wanna be to daddy of three, all while discovering an undeniable truth in the only place where a man can rant, rave, sing and scream stories from the cradle to beyond… open mic comedy.
pomme is french for apple, a new play written, produced and performed by Liza Paul and Bahia Watson, explores the lives of modern women and their most intimate, embarrassing and empowering moments.
Following a sold-out series at Cinecycle last year and after closing to a standing-room-only crowd at the Tranzac in early 2012, pomme is french for apple returns to the stage at Theatre Passe Muraille as part of the Toronto Fringe Festival July 6-14, 2012.
“You can’t hoover a 757 from your living room carpet” -Crashland
Crashland is a show about four people and a plane. The plane crashed – they died. The end … or so they thought.
Upon asking for forgiveness, Albert, Lil, Eli, and Marie quickly realize there is more to moving on than what they had imagined. Fueled by their desire to find peace, they must explore their memories to move forward and discover the “what’s left” after death – while navigating the irony of being flattened and flambéed by a 126 tonne airplane.
