Picture two beds, split into separate cells by masking tape and imagination. In one, Timothy Leary, the self-proclaimed philosopher and LSD messiah, is spending his first day in jail. Fringe Review: The Intrepid Project – Shoeless Productions

I enjoyed The Intrepid Project, which is playing at the BYOV Intrepid Travel.  Certainly not high-brow, and not perfect, but pretty darn funny.

To give you an idea of the type of show it is, my favourite part was a man clad in silver spandex shorts compulsively dancing whenever music was played.  The others dancing were fun too, but mr. silverpants, he was my favourite.  Time travel and silver spandex pants, what’s not to like?

Word of mouth is the key to Fringe.  So, we’re gonna let you know what we’ve heard, not just tell you about what we’ve seen.

Fringe for Free – Jem Rolls’ Leastest Flops, Saturday at 8:45pm

This time you have a chance to win two tickets to a pair of tickets to Jem Rolls’ Leastest Flops.

I’m pretty sure if you look up “Fringe Veteran” in the dictionary (you know, if Oxford Canada still printed such a thing…) you’d see a picture of jem rolls.  In case you don’t know what he looks like, this seems a perfect opportunity to find out.

These two tickets are for the Saturday July 4nd performance, at 8:45pm.
