 THE NEXT STAGE OF DREAMING:

Montreal’s Uncalled For Bring Their Sleeper Hit

Hypnogogic Logic to the Next Stage Theatre Festival

TORONTO WAKE UP! Montreal’s premiere comedy troupe Uncalled For tickle your frontal lobe with their award-winning creation Hypnogogic Logic; an energetic, refreshingly intelligent and endlessly hilarious trip through the world of dreams. The show is one of 8 plays invited to perform at the 2012 Next Stage Theatre Festival, Toronto’s fastest-growing theatre event. Uncalled For Presents: Hypnogogic Logic runs from January 515 at the Factory Theatre Mainspace.

The company’s fifth scripted show, Hypnogogic Logic won Uncalled For their second Just For Laughs Award for the best comedy at the Montreal Fringe. The show is a clever, charming and tightly constructed exploration of the hypnogogic; the hallucinatory state between waking and sleeping. In Uncalled For’s rich collective imagination, that mental state becomes an absurd and inspired dreamscape, filled with dictionary preachers, post-apocalyptic cooking shows, ticklish piano teachers and a reincarnated Freddie Mercury.  Continue reading Hypnogogic Logic – Toronto Next Stage 2012 Press Release
